Laila
I seem to prefer Laila over Layla, but not sure about this...And, am wondering if it works with any of the names that I have been trying to use...so how would you work Laila / Layla into a combo using these:Caitlin
Joanna
Amber
Gabrielle
JamieMN only: Clare, Elizabeth, Gretchen,

I pronounce Laila as LIE-lah. For LAY-lah, I'd spell it Leila.Laila Joanna
Laila Gabrielle
Laila Clare

I love LAY-lah, spelled Leila. But that can also be confusing (I thought for years Leila was prn. LEE-lah). Layla just looks trendy and a bit illiterate to me, and Laila looks like it could be prn. LYE-lah. I like these best:
Laila Joanna
Laila Gabrielle
Laila Claire
Laila Elizabeth
Laila GretchenLaila/Layla doesn't sound quite right as a mn, imo.

Laila is nmsaa. Would prefer Layla but I still don't care for it.Laila Gretchen / Layla Gretchen
Laila Clare / Layla Clare
Laila Amber / Layla AmberI love Gabrielle but I don't think it would really work with Laila. ):

Laila is a lovely name, and I would consider it if I didn't know about 5 already, and some of my oldest friends. Laila Gretchen sounds lovely IMO :)Laila Caitlin
Amber Laila
Laila Clare (I adore Clare!)
Caitlin Laila also sounds nice, although I dislike Caitlin a lot.
