Really, really dislike. It's the "bald" that just has an awful sound to my ears, sorry.

I don't like Archibald, but I love Archie (go figure :p). I actually adore Archer as a name, and I think it is a nice alternative. WDYT of Archer?

I don't really like it, the "bald" just makes me think of old men. Archie is becoming pretty popular where I live though, and Archibald is rising too, so I might get used to it.

Archie is becoming a very popular name where I live but I prefer Archibald. Archie is fine as a nick name but give the child a proper name!!!

I think Archibald has passed its Best By date, passed it's Sell By date, passed its Expiration date, and is now fossilized, green, foul-smelling and probably deadly if consumed. lolSeriously, I think Archibald is about 120 years out of date, and will never again be anything close to "in style" or "current." It's just ugly sounding to me, anyway.
