Celandine and Araminta
These two names have been on my mind a lot recently, I like the "fresh" feel of them, if that makes sense. I just want to get some thoughts as to whether they are too fussy to work in the real world. Would it be better to put them in a middle name slot? Also, would they work in a sibset?
Thanks in advance!

I agree that they would make a great set of middle names but might be a bit too fussy in the real world. That being said i also do know a little girl called Araminta nn Minty. I prefer Araminta out of the two and prefer Clementine to Celandine :)
I actually know a girl called Araminta - although, she's the most tomboyish person I know. Sure case of a girly-girly name backfiring. We call her Minty. Bizarrely, for your choice - her sister's name is Clementine. (nn Clemmie)
Not sure about Celandine - but this could be another girly-girly name that gets a more neutral nickname - Andy, perhaps.
Depends whether you want them to be girly-girls or not. I think both of them in one sibset could be a little much. Maybe better as middle names.

They are very "fresh." Like scents of shower gel... in an entirely good way of course! :) But seriously, they give me the same crisp, vibrant feeling. For me though, they would work better in the mn spot, as they're a bit elaborate. They would be great as mn's for a pair of sisters (assuming you're thinking of them both as feminine).
they're fresh, all right...
They sound liek fresh salad greens to me. Like they should have siblings called Arugula and Romaine.

I like them, esp. Araminta.
