Strangely, I know a pair of sisters named Jenny and Winnie. Jenny is my age and Winnie is about five years older. As far as I know, those are their full names. They're Chinese, so those names might be sort of Americanized versions of their Chinese names.

In addition to the ones already listed I plan to use Imogen nn Genny. But I'm worried about having sisters Penelope "Penny" and Imogen "Genny" I think Ginny and Winny is just as bad.

The most obvious full name for Ginny is actually Virginia, not Ginevra. Winifred has an old-fashioned charm to it, but Winny looks a bit like "whiny"

I'm currently adoring the sound of Ginny (because of HP, of course), and if I have a daughter named Jean, which is my #1 favourite for girls, she may well be nicknamed Jinnie as well as Jeannie.
