Priscilla
I never used to like Priscilla, because the 'pris' in it reminded me of a snobby person. But all the sudden, I really like this name. It's very feminine and pretty. And I think Prisca might be a cute nn. So what do you think of this name? I also love Cecilia, do these two names clash? Which would you rather see? And also, I would love some combo suggestions if possible!

My dad's mother's name was Priscilla Frances. I don't really like the name because it reminds me of prissy, which I suppose is a nickname for it. But Prisca isn't too bad.

My DH really likes Priscilla, too, and although it's really nms, I can see how he likes it. It's grown on me, as well, tbh.I don't think Priscilla & Cecilia clash in the least. Of the two, I don't think I'd prefer to see one more than the other on other people's children. My name preferences can be somewhat ecclectic, so feel free to take these combos with a grain of salt. :o)Priscilla Jessamine

Priscilla is very pretty and you don't see it all that often. I'm not fond of the nn Prisca, it sounds like cat food to me. I'd just use the full name, or maybe Cilla.I like Priscilla lto more than Cecilia. Cecilia has a hissing quality I don't like, whereas the pr in Priscilla acts to kind of crisp it up a little.Priscilla AmberPriscilla CarmenPriscilla DawnPriscilla ErinPriscilla FayePriscilla GwenPriscilla HopePriscilla IvyPriscilla JasminePriscilla KayPriscilla MaevePriscilla OpalPriscilla Rose

I see what you mean about Cecilia kind of sounding like a hiss!
Priscilla Carmen is really, really nice! That's just what I'm looking for! That might be my new combo now. I like Priscilla Opal, Ivy, Rose, and Faye as well. Thank you!

I actually know of a family with two daughters named Priscilla and Cecilia! I don't think they clash too much.I also know two Priscillas. One is Mary Priscilla (but goes by Priscilla) and one is Pricilla Angelique. They both are called "Pris" as a nickname.Priscilla Clare
