Aspen

I'd prefer to never see it again, on either gender. :-/ I've only seen it on girls so far, but it would be a tad bit less horrible on a boy, I suppose. I don't care for most word names in general, though, and the ass-pen sound does nothing for me, either.
As for the others, I like Elijah esp with nn Eli, Alessandra is ok, and I love Miriam. Atara and Anthony are nms, and I detest Addison for a girl.

@ss-pen. I have a friend with a baby named Aspen, and everyone has to fight the natural urge to shorten the name to its first syllable. @ss, in this case. It's dreadful for a boy or girl. Now that I think of it, it probably worse for a boy. God forbid he's at all afeminit.
I have thought of that. It would be a problem. Do you think it would be okay as a mn?

Aspen - It's nice, I think it would work fine for a boy! I myself have even thought about it for a boy.
Atara - NMS, seems missing something.
Elijah (nn Eli) - Gorgeous! Elijah is one of my favorite names, and I love it with nn Eli!
Alessandra (nn Sandra) - Alessandra is a bit long, I prefer Alexandra. But I think nn Sandra would be adorable here. I'd also like Sandy a bit.
Addison (nn Addy) - I like Addison, but for a boy only, it's masculine. And trendy seeming for a girl. I do love the nn Addy, spelled Addie, for a girl though. Probably short for Adeline.
Miriam - It's very cute.
Anthony (nn Tony) - I can't put my finger on what exactly bugs be about Anthony. I do not like it. And Tony reminds me a bit of toe nail. )-:

I'd like to like it, but I can't get over the "ass" part of it. Also, Aspen makes me think of a rich person's playground, like naming your kid Hampton.
Atara - I think of Atari
Elijah (nn Eli) - I like it but I prefer just plain Eli
Alessandra (nn Sandra) - I like Alessandra but not Sandra
Addison (nn Addy) - I don't like it
Miriam - love it
Anthony (nn Tony) - Anthony is nice but I don't like Tony.

I love it for a boy [m]
I am considering use it for a boy, although I can't decide for a FN or MN.
Technically Aspen is a tree, and place so it has no gender IMO.
Atara - nms

Aspen seems like more of a girly name to me.
Atara seems like a karate person in a video game. (That's bad!)
Elijah is ok.
Alessandra is WAY TO pretty to be shortened down.
The rest are great too, but I prefer Athony over Tony, and I don't like Miriam.
