Re: twin names
in reply to a message by Linda
Congratulations!Feminine names for girls are fine, but I would shy away from Isabelle (I would shy way away from Isabell, as it looks misspelled) and Emma, because they're so common with young girls nowadays. I'd want to name my daughters something beautiful, but a bit more distinctive. When you strip away all the aesthetic value of names, their real purpose is something to be called for the rest of your life. So I wouldn't use something in the top 10, as that would make this sole functional purpose more difficult - my daughter would be Emma D. or Ava D. her whole life, and when people said "blah blah blah Emma," the other person would have to say "Emma who?" and then a whole other explanation would have to take place, etc etc. (Although I do love Emma and Isabelle, they're two of my favorites, and Emma's my name! :)) Some suggestions for pretty yet distinctive names:Ariana
