Re: Twins, wdyt?

Sorry if you're offended but I don't like it at all.Zowie looks awful, I can just barely tolerate Zoe. Blue, if it has importance to you (eg. family surname) then it is fine as a mn but it sounds so cutesy next to Zoe. Catherine Blue or Josephine Blue, Caroline Blue, Veronica Blue or something along those lines wouldn't be so bad. Apple is a fruit, and I'm sure you got it from Gwyneth Paltrow. Apologies if it does have family value. Livia is fine, but the transition from the "a" at the end to the "a" at Apple does not appeal to me at all, just as I cannot stand the flow of say Maria Anne or Joanna Alice. I think overall, the combos sound like something out of a cartoon comic.

I'm not offended. Honestly, I was going for cutesy. I chose Zowie instead of Zoe because Zoe looks very plain to me and I wanted it to be a bit longer next to Livia. Yes, I did hear Apple from Gwyneth Paltrow. I like it as a fn too, but I think she would be made fun of. I think it works nicely as a mn. I wanted Zowie to have a cutesy mn too, that is how I decided on Blue.

Just out of curiosity...Why are you going for cutesy? Do you really want your children to grow up with "cutesy" names? It seems like an odd thing to aim for.

Well, if you want to go for cutesy then it works, but Zowie and Livia don't sound too cutesy next to eachother unless you learn their mns, so it is not as bad as some twins. I'm just saying that many of the twins I have met hated the fact that they had cutesy names, just because they were twins. If you like the names you should go for it.
