Riley Paige: I like Riley (I also like the sp. Rylie & unlike most people, I only like this name for a girl); I don't like Paige at allLily Rose: I like both names (I like Lily by itself or as a NN for Lillian/Elisabeth/Lilia); I think that Lily Rose makes a cute NN for a girl named Elisabeth Rose or Lillian Rose, but by itself it's a little too themy imo*As for the twin set, I don't think Riley & Lily go together very well. Riley is a unisex name while Lily is more feminine & girly (almost cutesy). I think that Hannah & Heather are okay as twins, but I think Hannah & Lily would have been even cuter.

I love Lily and Rose, but together they're over the top imo. I don't like Riley Paige at all.I also dislike Hannah Paige and Heather Rose.

I love Lily but great dislike Riley on a girl. Paige and Rose are ok, but Lily and Rose together is just 'off' imo (two flower names). Also, I dislike the similar -ly/-ley endings in the same sibset. :-/ As for Heather & Hannah, that would be just as bad. But I don't like using the same first initial for two kids in the same sibset. I'm picky like that. :b

I don't think twins (or multiples, for that matter) should have matching names. If you want them to have that, nn them something matching and cutesy. Twins are still individuals, and deserve to be "separated" in a way. I like the names your cousin used, although I think Rose is used too much as a mn, and Lily Rose is very floral. I like Riley Paige.

I'm just neutral to both names. But I'm surprised to see them together. They're both trendy, but in such different ways. Lily is a revived trendy name, like Madeline, Isabella etc., whereas Riley is a new trendy name. And the middle names follow that same pattern. Riley Rose and Lily Paige would've been more balanced._____________________________________________________________________"I marmaladed a slice of toast with something of a flourish, and I don't suppose I have ever come much closer to saying 'Tra-la-la as I did the lathering, for I was feeling in mid-season form this morning."El

Lily is prettybut Lily Rose is too flowery. Heather Rose is also too flowery. Lily Paige and Hannah Rose would have been fine.Riley is a ln-as-fn and unisex and does not really go with the traditional and ultra-feminine Lily."You sought a flower and found a fruit. I hate twinny names! I prefer Riley on a boy, but I like the fact that she picked two names that I would consider very different. Lily Rose is a little too flowery, but still nice.

Why must twins have totally different names?Riley and Lily sounds like one is a tomboy and one a all girl. I think two tomboy names or two very girly names would have been better."You sought a flower and found a fruit. You sought a spring and found a sea. You sought a woman and found a soul. You are disappointed." (Edith Södergran 1891-1923)

She didn't say they had to. It's her preference.
Personally I agree with you, as I find Gracie and Mica much too odd together as one is very girly and one is unisex.-Seda*

Lily Rose and Heather Rose are great combos (except for the fact that Rose is overused as a middle name). Hannah is okay, but Paige is NMS. I much prefer Riley on a boy.

I disagreeOther than Riley, I like the names your cousin picked. I don't think twins should have matching names. It just reinforces the stereotype that twins are clones of each other. Sure, it sounds "cute," but cuteness, IMO, is not a great thing when it comes to names. Names that sound cute on little babies might get tiresome or start to seem silly when they grow up.

Well, I don't like Hannah and Heather so I disagree with you and twins' names don't need to start with the same letter, but Riley is an all-boy name imo, so I don't like it on girls. Lily is also very popular and I'm sick of it. Lily Rose is nms because it's two different flowers. It's "off", imo. Paige is just nms due to the fact that it sounds like "page" and it's not a pretty sound. -Seda*
