My 7 year old son is named Dashiell. I have wanted to name my son Dashiell ever since I heard the name, and never really thought much about the meaning behind it. So many of those meanings are just made up, and everyone's familiar with Dashiell Hammett.
I'm really suprised the name isn't more popular. I was really worried Dashiell would become trendy.
