Eden (f)

I like it but prefer it as a MN
I like it, it's cute. I also think it will age quite well, which is important.
I love it!!
I love Eden! It's short enough on it's own that I doubt many people would shorten it.
I think Eden is short enough and easy enough to pronounce that it won't inevitably lead to a nickname. Although it's a very different style than most names I like, it's really been sitting well with me lately. I like it!
Only one person has ever called me Edie and only one person has ever called me Ed. My best friend called me Edie, but it started with her calling me E.D.E.N, so I guess she actually called me E.D. My mom first started calling me Edna (because sometimes nurses, etc, would call it out in the waiting room) and then shortened it to Ed.
People usually do not try and shorten my name.

I like as a MN only
I really like it! I also think that since it's short enough on its own, not too many people will rush to stick a nn onto it.
Sounds masculine like Ethan. It also sounds tacky like a stripper's stage name.
I don't like it. Its tryndee and seems insubstantial. I can't imagine a grown woman with this name.
:)
That's your opinion and of course it's a fine opinion to have. :) I'm a grown woman named Eden, though, and if anything it always seemed too mature for a little girl to me.
