I love Clara. My husband and I are having our second baby (due in less than a month) and we are pretty set on using Clara. Most likely Clara Alison, to be exact.Very beautiful name.

I prefer Claire. ;)

It's pretty and it has a classic quality that Claire lacks, very nice and traditional.

I love it. I think it's a good alternative to the ever popular Sarah. It fits in with names like Sarah, Ella, Hannah etc

I think Clara is very pretty. Clara Pearl is a cute combo.

I like it quite a bit. I think I perfer Claire over Clara because of this slight nagging feeling I have that Clara is a bit dowdy. But it's really not that much different that Claire, which I see as very sophisticated and classy, so I just remind myself of that and I then I like Clara a lot again. :) Bottom line: very pretty and understated and currently fairly underused = a fabulous name!

Very pretty and feminine name. It's not overly popular and has a nice sound to it.

It's growing on me but only pronounced KLAHR-ah (not KLAIR-ah).

Clara is great. It sounds lovely, and it works well on a child or adult. Personally, I prefer Clarice (despite the film Hannibal), but Clara is great, too.
