Leah
I'm currently in love with the name Leah. I'm not sold on its' meaning, but it's such a simple, lovely name. I like Leah Christine quite a bit. What do you guys think of it?

Leah is one of my favorites. Leah Christine flows really well. I've considered Leah myself with mns such as Marielle, Susanna or Corinne.

Leah is one of my all-time favorites. I don't really like the mn Christine, though.

Love it! Leah Christine is very pretty!

Leah Christine is nice. plain, but perhaps that's a plus if you like simplicity. plus, a family connection always adds to the name.

I think it's a lovely name. It's so sweet and soft sounding. DH doesn't like it but I've always had it on my long list. Leah Christine is nice. What about Leah Annabel?:)

Leah Annabel is prettyBut it doesn't honor anyone. That's really important to me.

Leah is my sister's name, so I have pretty good associations with it, despite the fact that most of the other Leahs I've known have been obnoxious. I find the name pretty but a little boring. Also, I'm not a fan of Christine, but it sounds fine in the mn slot.

I quite like it as Leah Christine is my name.

differing opinionIt's growing on me significantly, but I still think this is one of the most boring names ever. It's nice, of course, it's got two very nice sounds next to each other. It's just very wimpy and substanceless and boring to me.I agree with Julia's opinions about the combos, I really like Leah Helen.

I love Leah! It's the name of my cousin, and she's a very nice, considerate, wonderful person. So it has good connections with me. It's very simple and elegant -right up there with Eleanor and Frances.I dunno about your combo... Christine has always sounded kinda... well, trashy to me. Even though I know a few young Christines, I always picture an overweight, stocky drag queen with numerous tattoos. But Christina is better, IMO. Although Leah Christina has an odd flow to me...

I like it. Wouldn't have used it on my own child, as our last name begins with "A", so it sounds awkward.
Also, Leah Christine is a classy combo.

I find it kind of boring. There are tons of Leah's my age, so I guess that's why it never really interested me much. But it is simple and lovely, as you said, and its popularity is winding down. Leah Christine is a fine combo. :)ETA: Now that I look at the popularity charts, I see it is rising a bit. That surprises me - I hardly ever see baby Leahs!

Wow, I am surprised that you have "tons of Leah's your age." I have never met any Leah's but myself. Well, atleast none that spell it that way. I know two other Leah's who spell their names Leea and Lea. Some people say it has to do with region, but I have lived in Germany and all over the US and still...not much in the way of Leahs.

Hmm, that's odd. I can think of at least ten off the top of my head! But, like you said, there are a lot of other spellings and variations, including Lea, Lia, and even Alea nn Lea. Either way, there are a lot of them around here lol.

I adore Leah. It's sweet, feminine, classic and simple but still has the element of surprise. The "ruler" meaning is nice, though I agree that the "weary" meaning is not so nice.Leah Christine is fine, though a bit heavy on the "ee" sounds for me. I'd prefer Leah Helen.

I love the name Leah. I never see it on "Horrible Name" lists and no one really makes fun of it. I don't particularly like the combo Leah Christine because Christine sounds dated as well as filler imo.

Christine is the grandmother's name.
