Thekla and Tiamat
I'm into both of these names big time, but I'm not sure if I should used them for kids, or relegate them for my cats. Opinions?

Cats. Absolutely definitely cats.Edit: spelling
Edit again: Would you really want to introduce yourself as Tiamat or Thekla? You'd probably get some very weird looks.

For once, I agree.I can't imagine going around introducing myself as either Thekla or Tiamat. :-D But they'd be adorable for cats.

I love Tiamat. Even though it's been a favorite of mine for sometime, I doubt I'd ever use it (but who knows?). Still, I think it's fantastic, for child or cat.Thekla, I'm not so sure about. Inexplicably, it brings to mind cleaning products and ceramic floors. It just doesn't sound like a name to me, you know? If I heard it out in the real world without any former knowledge of it, I'd probably go, "WTF?" Not a bad meaning though.

I don't really like the sound of Thekla (although Thelka would be nice). And Tiamat is a mythical dragon god...
Yeah, I think they would be better as cat names.

I love the fact that Tiamat is a mythical dragon godOne of the reasons it made my list.
