In fact my first DD will be Xanthe Lyric Jemima (future Dh can take a running jump if he thinks thats going to change ;) I really like the sound, the meaning and the potential nn Jem. I have it as a mn simply because there are other names I like more as fn's, but I really do love Jemima. It's spunky and different.

I know in the US, however, there's a problem with the Aunt Jemima association- someone always brings it up to me. It's not a porblem in Australia, but I think only you can judge wether this would be a problem in your area. Lovely name.
