Oh yes, there's a few:
Soph
Sophs
Fuffy (this is what I used to call myself before I could say Sophie properly)
Sophticus - my uncle Din romanises everyone's name - Matticus, Simonicus, etc
Saffy - my uncle Tim used to compare me to the Ab Fab character 'cos I used to sit in quietly doing my homework while my parents were out at the pub!
My sister Gemma gets called:
