A twinset I know
An old teacher of mine has twin daughters. I think they're about 8 or 9. I don't know their middle names, but their first names are Harriet and Ada. WDYT?I think it's lovely. I wish I knew their middle names! And I think it's about 1000 times better than Mhyddayhsynne and Mckynnziey or something like that.

Lovely!I think I would've preferred Adah in this case, just because Ada seems so short next to Harriet, but other than that the sib set is near perfection.

NMS. Way too old fashion for my tastes.

I love Harriet and Ada individually and for sisters/twins. Beautiful!

Gorgeous! Harriet is currently among my top ten (or something) and Ada is lovely. They make a fabulous twinset.

Very cute together, though I like Ada more than Harriet. Ada Harriet would have been cute too. They do sound old-fashioned, Harriet moreso than Ada, but both have a certain charm to them.

Ada I can stand, Harriet I could never.

Lovely. Gorgeous together.I love Harriet (actually, now I think about it, I really love Harriet. Hmm, maybe time to rearrange my top 10? :) ), especially with the nn Hattie.Ada is alright, hasn't grown on me yet but has potential (I like the similar Ava).

I agree with RoxStar they sound old-ladyish, but better that than kr8tiv and trendoid.

Harriet and Ada is cute.

They sound like two old ladies in a nursing home. Harriet cheats at bridge and Ada throws full bedpans at the nurses. lol

The names arent really my style but I think they go great together and I admit they are nicer than Mhyddayhsynne or Mckynnziey.

That's lovely. Neither is a favourite, but I really like both of them together. That's a very sweet twinset, and you are right, so much nicer than many I've heard. Lol at Mhyddayhsynne and Mckynnziey.Gorgeous names, thanks for sharing.

How funny! I once met a set of twins who would be around eight now (I think) named Ada and Harriet. It's neat to think that there's a second set out there. :DI like both of them (not enough to use, but I definitely dig), and I think they go beautifully together.Array

Wait a sec, you're from Wisconsin, right? I believe that the teacher I had was originally from Wisconsin - she JUST moved here about two years ago. Wouldn't it be funny if they were the same set?

...I am from WI. If she ever went to a charity called the Souper Bowl back in Wisconsin, then they'd be the same kids! :DArray

I wouldn't be surprised if she did, she seems like the type to do charities. Did you get her name, by any chance? The teacher I know is Stacy. She has dark hair - curly, I think - and kind of a long nose. Heh, that would be totally bizarre if they were the same kids. It's a small world, I guess!

No idea what her name was--we just happened to be standing next to each other in the same line, waiting for our soup, and I got to talking to her girls and stuff. They told me that they really liked Babar, and if I recall correctly, they had straight brown hair (I think in bobs). The main reason I remember all this is because after I met them, I posted their names on a different messageboard, where various other members proceeded to get into a flamewar over whether old-fashioned names like Ada and Harriet were cruel to inflict on little girls today. *eyeroll*Array

That was probably them, then - I saw a picture of them once, and they both had short, straight brown hair. What an odd coincidence! :)
