Not really my style at all. My first connections are the prince, the wizard, and Mr. Reid.

I've always loved the name Harry and think it completely stands on its own. I don't much like the name Harold and I don't understand the Harry as a nn for Henry thing. They are the same length.

It's a nice, classic nn of Henry, I wouldn't use it by itself, plus the Harry Potter associations have spoilt it, for the time being.

Always liked it but is over-popular now thanks to Harry Potter... might be ok to use again in a few years. It's a very upper middle class name to me, likely to have siblings such as George, William, Philippa, etc.S xx

I definitely prefer Henry. Harry is okay as a nn, but it doesn't stand well on its own.

It immediately brings up thoughts of the infamous wizard...

Me too. It's quite sad, since I really like the name.

I don't really like it, esp. on its own. It'd be alright as a nn for Harold.

As long as the mn is not Richard, it's OK. Not a big fan though. Much prefer Henry.

I actually quite like it. It has a cute sound, but it's also masculine. The name suits a male of any age too, which is handy.

I like Harry, very much in fact. But I prefer it as a nn to a more formal name like Henry or Harold.
