Taliba and Tiamat
I was going through my personal name list, and these two names stuck out. I'm wondering if Taliba is too close to Taliban, as their roots are the same. I'm also a bit concerned that Tiamat is too close to Tiananmen, especially when pronunced in English. (Tiananmen Square - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiananmen_Square) I've been there, and you can see the stains of blood.
Otherwise, opinions on the two names? Tiamat I'm especially diggin' right now.

I thought of Taliban instantly the first time I saw you post about Taliba. When I looked up the meaning, I wondereded if they came from the same root, because it seemed to make sense. I deffinatley would avoid Taliba because of this.
But Tiamat doesn't remind me of Tiananmen, even now that you have pointed it out, and I like the meaning. I like Tiamat too, it's got spunk. Great name.

I didn't notice the Taliba/Taliban connection until someone else pointed it out below. I have to agree that it's too close. :-/ But I wouldn't have made the Tiananmen connection with Tiamat, and I still don't think it's too close.
