I love Zoe, but the combo doesn't flow for me. It's not that it's too short that is the major issue, it's more the fact that the S and Z run together like Isla wrote. That was my immediate reaction, but I also did find that like Iris better with a longer MN, so both apply.
I'm not a fan of Iris but I've given it try. Not sure what your naming style is, sorry if I went a bit overboard.Iris Abigail
Iris Althea
Iris Amanda
Iris Amelia ( Amalia)
Iris Aurelia
Iris Blanche
Iris Blythe
Iris Cordelia
Iris Damara
Iris Delaney
Iris Diana
Iris Eileen
Iris Elaine
Iris Elvira
Iris Leilani
Iris Linnea
Iris Matilda
Iris Michelle
Iris Minerva
Iris Miranda
Iris Monet

It doesn't flow terribly well and the s/z sounds run together. I do like Zoe, but I think it sounds better as a fn (because of the ending -ee sound). I adore Iris. Iris would sound better with a longer mn, imo, like Iris Camille or Iris Cordelia, just off the top of my head.

I don't mind two short names together, but Iris Zoe doesn't particularly flow well to me. I do adore the name Iris, so let's see --Iris Matilda
Iris Penelope
Iris Clare
Iris Amelia
Iris Blythe
Iris Ophelia
Iris Olivia
Iris Celia
Iris Viola
