Anya and Evan
Anya and Evan are my newest additions to my list of favourites. I noticed that I'm liking a lot of shorter names lately. So, what do you think of the names? Honest opinions are welcome. :)
Any middle name suggestions? Would they make a good sibset? Also, how do you pronounce Anya?
Thanks in advance.

I really like both of them, moreso as a sibset than separately (I don't know why. That's kind of strange, isn't it?).Anya: ON-yah

I like Anya. Evan doesn't do anything for me.

Evan makes me think of Evian water and even though I like the name Anya, someone delightfully (can you detect the hint of sarcasm) notified me that it can easily be made fun of (I'll jump on ya, Anya!) etc.

I'm not a big Evan fan, but I think it sounds good with Anya. I say AHN-ya. It's cute, but I think I like it better as a nn.

I used to be obsessed with Anya. I actually like it a lot. I pronounce it Ahn-yuh. I love Evan! One of my faves.

I love Evan --handsome and classic. Evan Gabriel, Evan Luke, Evan Lucas, Evan Robert and Evan Paul come to mind.I pronounce Anya as AHN-yah, and love it only as a nickname, for Anna or some other An- name. Anya as a nickname for, say, Anastasia is not technically correct, and would make any Russian cringe, but it's much better than Anya as a full name. Aine is an Irish name said the same way if you don't want it as a nickname.Evan and Anya clash rather spectacularly as siblings in my opinion.

Anya is pretty and made me think of Aine too. I like Evan (my brother is Evan Michael) but I don't have much feeling for it because I can't hear it as a name; I can only think of my brother!
