I love Perry. It's a family name for me, my great-grandmother's maiden name.
As much as I love it, I don't think it's the easiest name to live with, especially for a boy. It's so similar to outdated names like Barry and Larry. Add to that its similarity to feminine names like Carrie and Mary, and you get a name that doesn't sound strongly masculine, imo. When I consider using it myself, it's always as a girl's middle name...I'm certain the fact that I associate Perry with my Nana has something to do with that, of course.
I guess I could say I love it, but I'm ambivalent about its usage.
