Izzie
I had a little girl come into work today whose name was Elizabeth but had taken onthe nickname "Izzie" I'd never heard this as a nickname for Elizabeth before but I really like it. The more i think about it I think its a darling nickname for Isabelle as well. What are your opinions on this??

I've never thought of Izzie as a nn for Elizabeth, but I don't see why not (Isabelle is a form of Elizabeth, after all). Rhymes with Lizzie and I like Izzie much more. :)

I like the nn Izzie and I can see how it comes from ELizabeth, I also like it way better than Lizzy (probably b/c of Lizzy McGuire).Very cute!

I'm Elizabeth and my 4 year old niece (when she was younger) used to call me Izzie (trying to say Liz)So it holds a special place in my heart.

Cute! That used to be my nickname from my uncle. I think it's really cute and could be used for a lot of different names!

Well, I'm pretty sure that Isabelle is a form of Elizabeth, so the NN Izzie isn't far-fetched.
