It definitely sounds feminine to me. I think it's a lovely name...in fact, it's been on my list of favorites for quite some time. It reminds of a sweet, girly-girl, and I think of lace when I see it.

It's an adjective, as in, "Oh, look at the lacey curtains." or "My, what a lacey dress you're wearing, little girl." Since we generally associate lace with females, it's a feminine name, but still an adjective.
