I like Hannah a lot. It's sweet and classic. It is popular, but not trendy and it's a classic name.I do prefer Anna, though.

I think it's lovely, but so terribly popular. I know of a lot.

I love it. It is rather popular though, I know at least 6 Hannahs: 3 my age (17), one a few years younger and 2 who are 3 or 4.

DittoI was volunteering @ Children's Hospital the other day, and I met around 10 young girls, 2 of which were named Hannah. Two were Paige, too.

Totally overused. Just a bleugh name to me, doesn't stand out at all.
Having said that, there are a lot of bad names in this world and there is nothing wrong with Hannah, as such

It's ok, just too popular for my tastes. I really prefer the Hanna spelling. I also like the name Henna.

I love it but I'm not sure if it ages well.

I really like it - it just sounds really nice and is very cute. I also like the spelling Hanna.

I like it, despite the popularity in my area. I wouldn't use it unless it had special significance because of this popularity.(p.s. If you are aka Dr Pepper, could you please pick one posting name and stick to it? Thanks :) )

Sorry my sister is "Daisy" we will both just post under Dr.Pepper if you would rather...I have more name thought/questions anyway :-)

No, keep your names, that's fine :) Just checking. It would me nice if each of you could combine your own posts though, maybe ask about more than one name at a time? We're very conscious of board space here - the more new threads are posted, the faster old ones get archived and you can't respond to them. Thanks :)Enjoy the site!

That makes sense...we will try to do that! Thanks! This is a fun board. I will be better about asking about more than one name at a time...I haven't been good about that sorry!!

It's pretty and will age well. But certainly not a name that people will remember too well, and she is guaranteed to get mixed up with at least one other Hannah, if not more. In a group of fifteen, there were five Hannah's.

Its not really a name I would want to use for my daughter (although, its not out of the question); however, I do adore it, and love hearing others use it.

Hannah is OK name, maybe little boring but still cute.

I think it is a sweet and safe name. It's classic without really standing out.
