I prefer Xavier when it's KSAY-vee-ur. Just sounds very handsome to me. What would the two-syllable way be? zay-VEER? zay-VYAIR? It's not bad, but it doesn't appeal as much to me.
Gideon is very handsome, too, though it stopped appealing to me personally some years ago.
