Its cool and I like it for a boy but I couldn't use it because it clashes with my usual naming style.

I don't like it. All I can think of is Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I love Harry Potter, but could never see it on a child.

I love this name for a boy. It was one of the names I considered until I met two little boys with this name. It seems like it's becoming quite popular.

I'm not a fan. It seems very trendy to me right now. But if it has to be used, I'd much rather see it on a boy.

I really like it...I like it on a girl but I think I prefer it more on a boy. Its a shame I cant use it because I already have the name Paris picked out for my daughter and I dont want to have all my children with place names.

I love it! I prefer it on a boy but I don't mind it on a girl, in fact, I think it would be quite spunky on a girl. For now,it's a gp but hey, so was August and that's been promoted to 'names I'd really use' so who knows. I adore it. :)

It's a daring name, but it sounds good as well as looks good on the page. I think I'd chicken out and out it in the mn spot though. John Pheonix? Martha Phoenix? Kimberly Phoenix? James Phoenix? It works on boys and girls IMO

I kind of like it-only for a boy. My sister's friend named her son Phoenix a few months ago and it's really grown on me since then.

Phoenix is wonderful name. I like it especially for girls, but it fits boys, too.

I love it for both genders, prefer a girl, I'd use it

First the mythical bird, then as the sibset of actors, then as the capital of Arizona and finally as the X-Men character. That said, it's a bit of a guilty pleasure - I love the look of it on the page.
