What are your top 5 names for girls?:
1. Evelyn
2. Grace
3. Faith
4. Béatrice (French prn)
5. Gloria
What are your top 5 names for boys?:
1. Grant
2. Derek
3. Gabriel
4. Walter
5. Matthew
What are your idea of "filler" names?: Rose, Sarah, the way too common names that, while nice names, are seen too often to make them seem original. (No offense meant to anyone named any of these or to parents who named their children one of these names)
What is your least favorite name for each gender?: Any variation of Alexandra for a girl and probably Jake or Jayden for a boy.
What is your absoulute favorite name for each gender? Evelyn for a girl (although Grace is a very close second) and Grant for a boy.
What is your usual naming style? I like the more old-fashioned really elegant names for girls (Evelyn, Scarlet, Vivian, Grace, Gloria, Faith) and the names that used to be considered really masculine for guys (Lincoln, Madison, Lyndon, Grant, Walter)
Do you use name generators? Eh, depends on what it actually is and where it's from. I like the one on BTN and SeventhSanctum.com
If so, what are the web adresses for the generators you use? www.seventhsanctum.com has a really nice array of generators that I use for all aspects of stories and roleplay.
Do you write stories? I like to think so.
If so, does your character naming style differ from what you would normally use? I have this thing that when I write the name always has to correspond to the character. I like to think names match people's personalities/appearances so I always make that happen in my stories.
For pets do you prefer traditional "people" names or non-traditional "pet" names? Depends, I'm not an animal person so I don't have much history naming pets but it really depends on the animal. Names could range from people names to book characters to household objects.
Example? I like Hershey for a dog but at the same time I would love to name a pet after a Harry Potter character/object and after reading a certain book I would like to name a black and white cat Mango.
