Nicolet or Nichole?
Out of these spellings only, which do you prefer Nicolet or Nichole?

Nicolet, because I'm Dutch and Nichole et al is overused.

How do you actually pronounce it? I always hear it as French in my head, I was alittle surprised to see that its actually a Dutch name.

Sorry, I should have said because I'm Dutch-American, because I don't know prn. very well. As a guess, I'd pronounce it nee-ko-leht, no idea which syllable to emphasize. ETA: I would assume the t is pronounced as in English, because the Dutch names I have encountered with t's prn. them (Gerrit, Griet, etc).

Nicolet......even with the association to nicorette or whatever the product is. I HATE the h in Nichole, it makes it look like "nich-ole"
