I've never heard anything but kath-LEEN, so if you were in Wisconsin, it'd work out fine. ;)
I love Kathleen (this spelling, particularly nn Kitty), but due to a relative fondly referred to as Sadistic Aunt Kathy, I could never use it. I shouldn't want her to think that the child was named in her honour!

See, this is why I don't like Isabelle, which most do. I had a very overbearing aunt named that, also she didn't like my mother, her sister-in-law, and didn't scruple to say so, in front of me. I loved my mother,and hated to hear her disrespected.
