Luca (and a few other names) & Random BA's
Luca
- I used to like this for a girl only, but now I only like for a boy.
- WDYT of it in general?
- I don't know if I'd use it, but WDYT of Luca Winter for a boy?Hunter
- I need a new MN for Hunter (it's for a girl). I no longer like the MN with it.
- The old MN was Diana, but I don't think it flows, plus the meanings behind them conflict for me.Severn
- This is for a boy, named from the same river my name is derived from :).
- any MN suggestions?
Morning Star
- is this better as a FN or MN?
- any FN suggestions [if Morning Star is better as a MN]?Schuyler
- I still need a MN for Schuyler (boy), any suggestions?
- Which one? Schuyler Reed or Schuyler March (although none are really sticking for me).Judith
- I have Judith down as a MN, but I'm also starting to like it as a FN, any MN suggestions?Random BA's

Luca: This is always a boy's name to me. I don't like it because I don't like Luke or Lucas. They just sound ugly. Also, the Suzanne Vega song about Luka on the second floor. And in "The Godfather" the guy that gets strangled with a wire garrote in a bar is Luca Brasi. Very gruesome movie scene. I think Winter is a bit too feminine to use as a mn for Luca ona boy.Hunter: This is a boys' name to me, sorry. You're right, Diana doesn't flow, but they don't conflict, they match all too well, Diana being a hunter.Severn: sounds liek severing.Morning Star: better as a screen name.Schuyler: I'm afraid most people, used to Skylar and Skyler, wouldn't pronounce it right. Schuyler Patrick? Schuyler James? Schuyler Vincent?Judith: I can only picture a Judith as havinga rather plain mn like Anne or Marie or Kay. I did read a couple of books by Susan Isaacs where the narrator's name is Judith Eve.Skylar Randi Marie: That Randi just doesn't go with Skylar.Lachlann: Looks like something an ill-informed parent might do to femininze Lachlan for a girl.Dorian Kinkaid: Very ambisexual, and to have Kink as part of your name is not a good move. Kink-Aid: help perverts around the world!Sierra Justice: Good name for an old Western.Rhian Heavenlii: Ugh, such ugly names and ugly spellings!

Luca for a girl? I love it for a boy, but could never see it for a girl.
Hunter for a girl? Um no. Sorry, but no. Again, it's more for a boy. Why not Artemis for a girl? Artemis was the Greek goddess of the moon and hunting.
Prefer just River not Severn.
Don't like Morning Star.
Don't like Schuyler.
Judith is ok. I like it as a first name though, and for a girl.
Combo ideas for Judith:
Judith Naomi
Judith Claire
Judith Sienna
Judith Sierra / Ciara
Judith Molly
Judith Clarissa
Judith Isadora
Judith Carmen
Judith Ava
Judith Arielle / Ariel
Judith Noelle
Judith Cassandra
Judith Felicia
Judith Corinne
