Dissenting opinion
I strongly dislike Rhiannon. I hate the h in it, it sounds whiny to me, and it seems like it's trying way too hard, and it seems very "new" to me. It also kind of sounds masculine to me sometimes. In fact the other day, my friend and I were flipping through the yearbook and we saw a girl named Rhiannon, and I said "Boy am I glad that's not my name," and Grace said "Yeah."I try to explain why I dislike names when I don't like them, I hope that was slightly helpful :)

In response to Blaarg Rhiannon isn't a "very new" name at all. It is Welsh and Basque French, but like Rowan it has had a sudden surge in popularity and become considered more common and less refined.
