My first thought is of the musical style. [ed]
...But I'm a music person and I really like calypso. Good stuff--if you want an interesting tune, pick up "Rum and Coca-Cola" by Lord Invader. The cover by the Andrews Sisters is good, too, but the lyrics are toned down in that one. Or, if you want an example of calypso that you would recognize, Harry Belafonte's "Banana Boat Song" will do the trick--you know, the "Day-o! Daylight coming, me wanna go home!" song in Beetlejuice. That's calypso, too. There also used to be an ice cream treat called a calypso--it was my favourite to get at the zoo.All the same, I like the name, though I prefer Callisto. I remember using Calypso for a character once, years ago. She was, unsurprisingly, a dancer.I don't really believe all that much in fitting names together like end tables and sofa cushions, so I can't help you with sibsets.ArrayETA: Kalinda / Calinda is another Trinidadian musical style, though most people would never know it. How about that for a sibling? :)
