Esme/Esmee?
What is the correct pronunciation?

es-MAY
Esmée's the correct female form of the name, btw; Esmé is the male form.
And, yeah, I know Esmé's been used for girls for ages, but the original bearer of the name (Esmé Stewart/Stuart, 1st Duke of Lennox, whose mother was French: see http://snipurl.com/1mglc) was male... and we English-speakers don't (usually!) use René, Desiré/Désiré, or Aimé for girls, we use the correct Renée, Desirée/Désirée, and Aimée.

EZ-MEE
as far as I know it's es-MAY
Ez-may is the way I pronounce it.
EZ-may
Yep, what Aine said. Lovely name :)
Ditto errr Tritto on that!
From someone who used to prefer Ess-mee (oh how I now cringe at that), I'd stick t the proper pronounciation or change the spelling to Esmie / Esmy.

EZ-may. That's how I've always said it and believe it's supposed to be pronounced.
Ez-mah, I'm pretty sure :-D
