I like it but on a boy. It's okay on a girl.
1. WDYT of it in general?
- It's alright, but definitely not a fave of mine.
2. Any MN suggestions?
- Rowan Elizabeth, Rowan Samantha, Rowan Stephanie, Rowan Olivia, Rowan Michaela, Rowan Celeste, Rowan Lily, Rowan Amethyst.
3. WDYT of it for a girl?
- Don't like it at all for a girl, it sounds too masculine. There's just nothing feminine about this name at all imo.
4. WDYT of it for a boy?
- Much better for a boy. Still not overly fussed with it though.

1. This doesn't sound good on a boy or girl
2. I can't think of any MN suggestions.
So...Rowan is for a boy, but it's still bad.
Thanks

I heard not that Rowan is a girl name. It´s boy´s name.
no I mean that I'm using Rowan for a girl, not that is it a girl's name :)
The name in general is great. I love it.
It's also a great middle name.
Horrible for a girl. Sorry.
Lovely for a boy.

1. WDYT of it in general? I think it is a nice name. Not the best, but pretty good.
2. any MN suggestions? Rowan Evangeline, Ernestine, Lillian
3. WDYT of it for a girl? I much prefer it on a boy. It just...doesn't really sound feminine to me. Robin? Rowena?
4. WDYT of it for a boy? Rowan Zacharias is my 5th place boys' combo.

No, it's not. ;) Just kidding. Really, though, I much prefer it on a boy, though it's not intolerable on a girl (which most unisex names are to me). I'd pair it with something very feminine, easily recognized as a "girl" name so there isn't any confusion as to gender when you see the full name. For instance - Rowan Isabel would be much better than Rowan Taylor.
