Ada?
What do you think of Ada [AY-da]? Does it sound too much like "ate-a", as in "ate a lot" or "ate a booger"? Is it dated or is it a classic?

I like this a lot. Its definitely a nicer alternative to Ava and I never really thought of "ate-a" until you said it. I don't think many people would notice that, anyway. I heard a song by Sarah McLachlan called Adia (prn. Ay-dee-ah) and I thought that it would make such a beautiful name.

Oh, Ada is definitely classic. I'm becoming bored with Adelaide...maybe I need to make Ada my favorite girl's name.

I love Ada, and I've never thought it sounded like "ate-a" but now I probably will. :-/ LOL. It's a nice alternative to the trendy Ava, but it's possible it will become popular in the future for that very reason. :(

LoveFear it's the next "Ava" though. It's dated, but in the stylish retro way. It is not a classic.

I love it, too. Much more than Ava.
