Thoughts on your thoughts--
The -ous ending seems to be somewhat popular with African-American babies, as I've seen many at the hospital where I work. I can't get over it just seeming like an adjective though. :-/ We had a Terrious once and I joked 'I wonder if that's a combination of terrific & wondrous or terrible & horrendous?' :b
