Saffron is too hippie for me. It also doesn't sound very attractive or feminine to me.
Sasha is strictly a nickname to me. I prefer it on a boy, too.
Poppy sounds pretty, flowery, and delicate to me; it's a little Victorian and a little hippie. But it's easily altered to "poopy", which gives me pause. It's also very trendy in England right now, but I don't really care about popularity as long as it's a good name.
