English teacher's baby .. Maddox Braden

My English teacher had her baby! It turns out she decided not to use her favorite name, Braden, because she and her husband Fran [Francis] have a dog named Baden. Mom's name is Lindsay and they decided on Maddox Braden. She said she looked through every possible baby name book .. I should have given her some advice, being the name nerd I am :P. WDYT of Maddox? I think it's cute, but being from Pittsburgh a lot of people will associate it with the old quarterback Tommy Maddox who lost the Steelers plenty of games :/ Oh well! I like Max as a nn too, I heard they're considering that being his nn :]

Maddox is ok. I really like Max as a NN. I don't really like Braden, but it sounds ok with Maddox.

I like Maddox, and I can't really put my finger on why. Max as a nn is very good.

Braden is pretty much my least favorite name, ever, ever. At least it's not Brayden or Braiden, and at least it's his middle name.

Maddox is one of the few surname names I actually like. Still, it's not a favourite of mine, really.

I'm so, so, so incredibly sick of the name Braden. I'm convinced that the world would be a happy place full of bunnies and daisies is the name Braden and all of its ghastly variants just suddenly disappeared on the faceof the earth.

This name is ok. The nn Max is cute. I know what you mean about Tommy Maddox :) I am also from PA.

I love Maddox, its awesome and modern without being too cutesy. I'm not a fan of Max, and I think that Maddox is short enough as it.
