I love Italian girl names, since I love frilly names in general. Italian boy names don't really appeal to me as much.

Giada -Pretty sound but it's very trendy and the spelling is very non-intuitive.

Currently I'm on a huge Paola kick. It's so classy. I actually prefer the look of Paula and the pronunciation of Paola (the Spanish Paula does meet these criteria), but I don't think other people would pick up. I'm also a big fan of the Italian girl names ending in -ce (prn CHEH), i.e. Alice (ah-LEE-cheh), Beatrice (beh-ah-TREE-cheh), and Berenice (beh-reh-NEE-cheh), the last of which is a form of Veronica, which you have on your list.
