I'm Nordic, Swedish in fact, but I've never heard of half of those names. :P I don't really like any of the names listed.

Bardur- Bard is not so bad as a nn
Narvi - Narfi- not so great
Reidar- I like this
Erling- nah
Erlend- nah
Arnbjörn - Anbjörn - Ambjörn- nah, too hard to say/spell/read for average Americans
Aslak- not bad, kind of cool
Steinar- a little beer-ish, but not bad
Geir- not sure on pronunciation, probably a nah.I think a lot of Nordic names are way cool, btw.

Well, not being Norse, these names seem a little out there, to me. But I did find some that didn't ruffle my American sensibilities too much. :D
I like:
Reidar
Erling
Erlend
Ambjörn
Steinar (although I kind of associate this one with a drunken man b/c of "stein"...*shrugs* I'm weird!)

Generally, I like Nordic names a lot. They are usually strong and nobel. The problem is, however, that they often sound like gods or, worse, dwarves. That is why I wouldn't give my child such a name. They somehow just don't fit real people.
