I prefer Arianna, and...I tend to pronounce Arianna AIR-ee-ANN-uh, and Ariana AIR-ee-AH-na. But I think I've also heard ARE-ee-AH-na, which seems to me to fit Ariana. I prefer Arianna because it's a dear friend's name who I would love to honor. She pronounces her name AIR-ee-ANN-uh, but occasionally has it mispronounced. She often goes by Ari. I also think the name is lovely in general.

I always pronounced it ari-AW-na. The spelling would depend on the pronounciation:
I would choose Ariana if I wanted the pronounciation ari-AW-na.
I would choose Arianna if I wanted the ari-anna. I'd probably nickname Anna if I did that!

I pronounce them ah-ree-AH-na. The 'aw' (as in awesome or Austin) is totally unfamiliar to me. Then again, I've also seen people online use 'on' and 'au' to convey the 'ah' sound as well. Not being able to hear what each other is saying can be confusing sometimes. So, do you pronounce the name with the 'awe' sound?Anyway, Arianna/Ariana is a beautiful name no matter the spelling. I prefer Arianna since Ariana is closely associated with the Welsh name, Ariane. I also find Arianna more visually appealing.

I pronounce them both Air-ee-anna. But that may be just my local-speak. The "aw" sound isn't much used in my area. Both pretty names.

I pronounce both ari-AW-na, unless corrected.
I prefer Ariana. Not only for the look but also to clear up any pronounciation confusion. People do tend to pronounce -ana names and -anna names differently.
