Barnaby
I'm really not sure why, but Barnaby has been growing on me a lot. I guess it's because I like the sound, plus it's kind of quirky and nerdy, which is a good thing of course ;). I'm writing a story in my Creative Writing class about a guy named Bartholomew Barnaby but goes by Barnaby (it's supposed to be an odd name for the sake of the story, don't worry :D).
So, I'd probably never use it in real life, but any opinions/combos for Barnaby anyway? MN or FN are fine. Thanks in advance. :)

I may just be confused, but haven't you been thinking about Barnaby for at least several months now?
I think that Barnaby really is a cool name, and I (dork that I am) would probably go ahead and use it on a child. I like it as a first name (why not show it off?), but it also works well as a mn.
Cheers, I have to study for a lot of junk tomorrow.

Have I?
Maybe I posted about it a few months ago and forgot or something, lol.
Good luck with studying, I'm right there with ya. =/

Bartholomew Barnaby is a great character name. Barty Barn, Barbar. Maybe Barnabas is one worth considering as well.
Anyway, I think it's kind of ugly. But I also love ugly names, in an odd way. I'd never ever use it, but I really hope to meet someone named it one day.

LOL.
Exactly. There are just some ugly names out there that I love.
Thanks for the Barty Barn suggestion, it made me laugh as well. :) I thought of Barbar too... oh, the possibilities! :D

It's a GP. You might also like Bartleby, which isn't in the database; I got it from Herman Melville's "Bartleby, the Scrivener". I think they're rather sweetly geeky. My biggest problem is their bleh NN potential (Barney and Bart -- no thanks), but they could be awesome MNs in the right combo, I think.
I'll just post it as a MN, but I think any of these would work fine reversed as MN/FN, too.
James Barnaby
David Barnaby
Simon Barnaby
Lawrence Barnaby
Vincent Barnaby
Philip Barnaby
Oliver Barnaby
Elliot Barnaby
Owen Barnaby
Isaac Barnaby
