Antonia
What do you think of Antonia, as a first name? I was reading 'My Antonia' and well, it got me thinking. ;) Thanks!

I like it. I had a friend called Antonia. She usually went by Antonia, occasionally Ant. You could use Toni or Tonia as nicknames too. Pretty

I adore Antonia and the book "My Antonia" is what made me love the name. Before that I was not familiar with the name. Book aside, I think the name is beautiful and strong sounding.

I've been loving Antonia lately as well.

I like it, pronounced an-TONE-yah or an-TONE-ee-ah but not an-toe-NEE-ah, which is usually how I hear it used. It's not something I'd use, but it's pretty (though I don't care for the possible nn Toni at all).

I love it and haven't completely ruled it out for future use. My problem is that I like it as much as Anthony.

I love Antonia. It's beautiful and I've adored it for a long time. I love the combos Antonia Summer and Antonia Linnet. Also, I really like Maude Antonia.

Beautiful name, one of my faves (but I passionatly hate the nickname Tony, Toni, or Tonie on a girl. Period).

Antonia has been on my list since last winter; I think it's lovely. The book, however, was dull and not something I particularly enjoyed, though.

The book..is not something I would typically read, and I felt like it lacked a lot of "meat" to it for one reason or another, I'm not sure. The story was cute, but too drawn out for my taste. I did like the last "book" or whatever you want to call it.Thanks.
