Laurence
I've always loved the story of St. Lawrence/Laurence, how when asked to give the king the church's riches, he brought the poor and sick.Lately, I've begun to like the name, though as a middle one. Ezra Laurence springs to mind.WDYT?

I love Laurence / Lawrence. I am also fond of the possibility of Larkin as a nn if it's used as a fn. :) It does make a gorgeous mn, though. Ezra Laurence is especially striking. The story behind the saint makes it even that much nicer.

Very nice meaningful combo. I like both names.

The combo is quite nice, I like it a lot. I prefer the spelling Lawrence to Laurence though. I just looks nicer to me with a W and not a U.

I like Laurence too. Not sure I'd use it as a first name, just because it seems like my husband would veto it. It's not very butch seeming, if you know what I mean. Great combo with Ezra.

I think Ezra Laurence is a wonderful name. I love the name Laurence. I also like Laurence from the Little Women and his nickname was Laurie.

I love Ezra Laurence what a fabulous combo! I like The story of St. Lawrence/Laurence too and I love some of the nicknames Laurence/Lawrence offer, Laurie for one and Rence for another. I knew a boy who went by Rence and it has always struck me as very nice. Also, Wren could be kind of a cool nickname, I am partial to feminine nicknames for masculine names though. Honestly though I love the name Ezra Laurence. If you don't mind I might add it to my list, because recently Ezra Sergius / Ezra Leopold havn't been striking me as very nice.

I don't mind people snatching my combos. It's going to happen - I've created a little club of Liora lovers.I did get upset before, but once someone stole Lily Athena I got over it.

I like Laurence as a middle name. Lawrence looks too surnamey for me.Ezra Laurence is fantastic!

I approve much. Ezra Laurence is nice.
Laurence as a fn often becomes Larry though

I'm not a huge fan of Ezra. Ezra looks feminine enough without being paired with Laurence, which appears feminine to me with the inclusion of 'Lauren' in the spelling. Perhaps using the spelling Ezra Lawrence would be better. Or the even more fabulous Lawrence Ezra.

I don't really care if my son's name strikes others as feminineAnd I really can't understand how a name like Ezra is feminine. It's one of the most masculine names I know, mainly because of the prophet.

I like Laurence/Lawrence. Ezra Laurence is handsome, but I think I prefer Laurence Ezra. This has nothing to do with wanting to call him Laurie. Nope, not a thing. ;)

its not my style therefore i really dont like it. Laurence is okay, but I am not feeling Ezra one bit, but thats just my opinion!
