I like Alexis but I think it's better on a boy. But I definitely think it's better than Alexandra. I really dislike that name especially since it's almost always shortened to Alex. I think you should use Alexis as an independent name.
I only like Alexander as a MN. It is really a great MN. But I'm tired of all the Alex- names to be honest. I think Alec would be a nice NN to Alexander.
