I really like this name. I never really hear/see it on little girls these days. Every now and again you might see a Laura in the birth notices, but it's certainly not common. It's a pretty name and I think it's more of a classic type name really. Maybe parents aren't looking for classics at the moment? Actually that's obvious with all the -den/-dyn, -lyn/-lin, mc-/mac- names around!
