I love Amos and I think it goes very nicely with your other children's names, IMO. I think Iris and Amos are a tad bit similar, but as long as that doesn't bother you then it's all good. I went to elementary school with an Amos, and my best friend has considered using it for her future son as part of a double-barreled fn (Amos Ross - both are family names). The Famous Amos connection is strong in the U.S.--it's a restaurant and a brand of cookies, and occasionally the restaurant is referred to as "Flamin' Anus". :-/ (lol) But being in the U.K., doesn't sound like this would be an issue for you, so I wouldn't worry. :b
I'm glad your DH at least likes Amos. I like the majority of the names on your list esp. Cedric, Victor, Basil, Albert, and Otis (though this is very similar to Iris...maybe Otto as an alternative?).
