Wdyt of Daphne?
I've never thought too much about Daphne; I never liked it, I never hated it. But it's been on my mind all day for some reason. I really like the meaning, partly because it's the same as my sister's name, Laura -- is that cheesy? It is part coincidence, though... I don't just like Daphne because of the meaning. Although it's not my usual style, I think it's really spunky and I like the sound. Thoughts? MN suggestions always appreciated, as usual. :D TIA!

I think it's cute, really gorgeous.
It'll always remind me of Daphne Moon from Frasier though. Lol I watch too much TV.

I love it! It's in our (my fiance's and my) top three names for girls. I think it has a delicate and mysterious sound.

I love Daphne and I think it's a subtle way to honor Laura. You're right; Daphne is spunky!

I love Daphne. I have yet to meet one actually. I don't think it is corny that it means Laurel like your sister's name. It would be a nice way to honor her.

It's been on my list for a number of years and for awhile was #1 (it was the name my ex liked best). I still like it a lot but have noticed it gain A LOT of acceptance recently. I don't know what happened to all the Daffy Duck and Daphne from Scooby Doo comments I used to get, but suddenly everyone is a fan and I rarely see criticism of it at all. Avoider of trends that I am, I'm worrying this one is a chart climber and as a result I have cooled on it quite a bit. It still makes my short list, but I don't think I'd be very likely to use it anymore.

I actually can't stand the name Daphne. I don't know it's always kind of bugged me. I do like Laura though. *adds to name list*

I don't really have strong feeling either way. I do think Daphne is kind of cute though, and it would be a good way to honor your sister.

I love Daphne. I also love Laura. I wonder if there's a coincidence? ;) But I think you're right it does have spunk, and is so feminine.

Ooh, Daphne Aurelia is gorgeous, as well as Daphne Rose! Wdyt of Daphne Eulalia? It has a similar sound to Aurelia, which has got me thinking.

I like it. For some reason it reminds me of perfume (no idea why!)

I think it's lovely and under appreciated.
