Leopold
I cannot get Leopold out of my mind. I really liked it when I was 9 or 10 after seeing Kate and Leopold, and for some reason it's come back to me (probably for the same reason as my recent Benedict obsession--studying the Holy Roman Empire for so long). It just sounds so strong and handsome, and I can never resist the nn Leo. Wdyt?
As for combos, Leopold Andrew has come to mind, although Andrew has no real significance for me. Leopold Robert, perhaps? Leopold Samuel? IDK, any other suggestions would be awesome.
Thanks in advance. :)

I have no problems with Leopold as a name myself, and I've been seeing lots of positive comments about it from young women on baby name boards ever since Kate and Leopold came out.
I do think in general, however, this is a name that women on the average are going to like much more than men. I think the reason it hasn't risen in use in the USA much yet is because prospective fathers probably quickly veto it when the expectant mother brings it up. I think a lot of men will still see Leopold as being effete, wimpy, and dorky, while many young women will see it as being romantic.

Really! I never would have imagined a young man thinking Leopold was dorky or weak.
I'd love to know if you can think of any other names that men and women see very differently?

I would assume that there are quite a few. But the general thing in American culture would be that men would tend to prefer more common names, while women are more likely to want their children to have names which are uncommon. The students in the experimental psychology class at my university did a research project this semester where that was exactly what they found. When I do informal research in my introductory psychology classes in Nebraska, the men are MUCH more likely to say they would give their children names which are common in their own generation (such as Ashley, Jessica, Matthew, or Jason) than the women are. Like all gender differences, this is not a 100% difference, but it certainly is the general trend.
Interesting
the men are MUCH more likely to say they would give their children names which are common in their own generation
My experience discussing names with my husband support this data, especially when it comes to his opinions on female names.

Adore it!
I absolutely ADORE Leopold! And Leo (as a nn)is so cute!

I've liked Leopold for a very long time as well. I first liked it when I was really young and it was an artist's name ... then Kate and Leopold came out and it all came back to me. I love Leo as a nn too. I cant have it standing on it's own but for Leopold or Leonardo I love it.
Leopold Samuel is awesome.
Others:
Leopold Edmond
Leopold Dimitri
Leopold Antonio
Leopold John
Leopold Michael
Leopold Nicolas
Leopold Octavian
Leopold Augustin

I've loved Leopold for a long time, after the naturalist Aldo Leopold. Some of the combos I was particularly fond of included Audric Leopold and Amadeo Leopold / Leopold Amadeo. :D It's not one I'd really be inclined to use (at this point, at least), but it's handsome!
Leopold Robert and Leopold Samuel sound nice. Leopold Robert is a surname away from being so WI-tributey that it makes my heart happy, lol. Imagine a little Leopold Robert LaFollette! But anyway, a few other suggestions (because I get overload if I get too many at a time):
Leopold Westley
Leopold Marcus / Leopold Mark / Leopold Marc (I prefer the second one, myself)
Leopold David
Leopold Harvey (this strikes me as faaaaabulous)
Leopold Blake
